International Youth Day: Manko Felicitates Kwara Youths

 

Kwara North Senatorial aspirant and CEO of the HAM Foundation, Alhaji Abdulkadir Attahiru Adamu Manko, has joined young people across Kwara State and beyond to commemorate International Youth Day 2026.

In a statement issued by his media team, Alhaji Manko described the occasion as an opportunity to reflect on the responsibilities of society towards the younger generation, stressing that genuine youth development must go beyond financial assistance to include proper guidance, mentorship and exposure.

He noted that young people possess the energy, creativity and ideas required to drive meaningful progress, but require the right environment and support to translate their potential into tangible achievements.

According to him, empowering youths without equipping them with the values, discipline and knowledge needed to navigate life may not produce the desired results. He therefore called for greater investment in mentorship, education, entrepreneurship, digital skills and leadership development.

Alhaji Manko further encouraged young people in Kwara North and across the state to remain committed to self-development, embrace opportunities to learn and acquire skills that can make them independent and valuable contributors to their communities.

He reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives that promote human capacity development, particularly programmes that give young people the tools and confidence to build sustainable futures for themselves and contribute positively to society.

He congratulated Kwara youths on the celebration and urged them to see their age, not as a limitation, but as an advantage to pursue excellence, innovation and purposeful leadership.

“Every young person carries a possibility that can change a family, a community and even an entire generation. What matters is creating the opportunity, providing the guidance and allowing that potential to flourish,” he said.

Alhaji Manko wished all Kwara youths a meaningful International Youth Day celebration and expressed optimism that the younger generation would continue to play a central role in shaping a more prosperous Kwara State.
