Bolaji Abdullahi sympathises with Constituents over scarcity of fuel, New Naira Notes.

The PDP Kwara Central senatorial candidate and Former Minister For Youths and Sports Development, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has sympathised with the people of Kwara Central senatorial district over the current fuel scarcity in the State and across the country, which has paralysed social and economic activities and brought much suffering to the people.

Abdullahi, in a statement released by his media team, noted that the current APC government has brought untold hardship to the people due to their incompetence.

"The current fuel scarcity is directly connected with the decision of the APC government to increase the pump price of petrol across the country. It's quite ironical that these same APC members were the ones who made the country ungovernable when former President Jonathan attempted to increase the price of fuel in 2012."

The former Minister commended the people of Kwara Central Senatorial District for their resilience and endurance under the APC party that has repeatedly demonstrated that it does not care about the welfare or suffering of the people.

"When we lament about these things, some people think we are just playing opposition game; but everyone is now feeling the pain brought upon us all by the outright incompetence of the APC government. It must be said that this is not the first time we've redesigned the Naira in this country. We have never witnessed people queuing for naira notes until these people came.

"I drove through the city and I saw interminable queues at filling stations and thousands of people hanging around the streets waiting for public transport that may never come. Businesses which were already crippled by their misgovernance have also been grounded because of this fuel scarcity. Students who are just resuming school after 9 months of strike are finding it extremely difficult to get to school. Add all these to the poverty they brought in the last seven years. Take a look at all these and tell me why anybody that is not in love with suffering should vote for APC again. Our people certainly do not deserve to be treated this way by a party that they gave everything to," Abdullahi said.

The former Minister said this suffering should be a wake-up call to all Nigerians to reject the APC in the next election. "We all need to remind them that real power lies in the hands of the people by voting them out in February. APC has done enough damage. They should just go," he said.
