Press Statement by the kwara emerging Voice (KEV) On the Defection of Alh. Ahmed Bayero From PDP to the APC on the 29th November, 2022.

The general Public is aware that the kwara Emerging Voice (KEV) has been in the news in the last one week possibly for what can be described as a wrong and unfortunate reason.


The Social Media and other news outlet is awashed with the Defection of Alhaji Ahmed Bayero, the state Chairman of KEV from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).


Kwara Emerging Voice (KEV) hierarchy and stakeholders immediately convene an emergency meeting to deliberate on the issue rising from its meeting it was unanimously agreed that Alh. Ahmed Bayero is on his own on this defection saga.


The Defection is inimical and against the guiding principle of Kwara Emerging Voice (KEV) which is an organization in association and afflicted to the great Saraki dynasty and by extension the People's Democratic Party.


The Kwara Emerging Voice (KEV) which stands for fairness, equity and justice in the political landscape of Kwara has since pitched its tent with the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and will continue to be an integral part of the PDP. The party by its choice of kwara North Senatorial District for its gubernatorial candidate has demonstrated fairness and justice to the people of Kwara State. This is an tandem with the ideology of kwara Kwara Emerging Voice which Kickstart the agitation for power shift to the kwara north.


It is there important to let the general public and most especially the PDP know that the purported defection of Alh. Ahmed Bayero in his personaland unilateral decision which does not affect one single member of Kwara Emerging Voice (KEV).


In view of this, the kwara Emerging Voice (KEV) having passed a vote of no confidence on the leadership of Alh. Ahmed Bayero will convene a stakeholder'a meeting soonest to deliberate and choose a new leadership for the organization.


The kwara Emerging Voice at this juncture wishes to reassure the Saraki dynasty and leadership of the People's Democratic Party of the unflinching support and loyalty of members at all times. Together, we shall rescue and recover not only Nigeria but Kwara State come 2023. This is because Kwara Emerging Voice KEV is PDP and PDP is Kwara Emerging Voice (KEV).
