Kwara APC records Avalanche as Hundreds of it members join PDP in Edu Local Government

 

 

Today, excitement glued the air as Peoples Democratic party members in Lafiagi Emirate comprising of four (4) wards received hundreds of decampees of All Progressive Congress in Edu Local Government area of Kwara State. The Decampees who are in their hundreds comprise 58 different groups across the four wards in the Emirate said they have no business to remain in a party that never kept on their promises made during campaigns.. The leader of the different groups led by Hajiya Jumai Ndama Lafiyami, alleged that the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara state has failed the expectations of the masses in the state. 

They said the leadership lacks the brilliance to manage the electoral success recorded during the last General elections. Another set of the Decampees are of the view that they believed this current administration has failed people of the local government in term of dividends of democracy, adequate security and above the decision of the PDP that resulted to zoning the Gubernatorial ticket to Kwara north is enough to rally round the party.   

The group concluded that the manager of our affairs in the State has contributed greatly to the sufferings of the masses, and as such there is no reason to remain in a party that has failed in their promises in 2019. The Decampees were received by the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) Local Government Chairman. The Chairman urged the Decampees to work assiduously for the success of the party come 2023.

 He also advised them to protect their PVCs because it is only the visa that will give them the power to exercise their civic right to vote AbdulRahman led Administration out of power come March next year. The party Chairman also encouraged them to pick up their membership registration form and massively get register in the party. 

All Decampees are handed over to their various ward Chairmen for membership capturing.
