Gambari Youths for Omoluabi Dismiss Online Poll, Says Poll was Procured.

Gambari Youths for Omoluabi, a socio political group, on Monday, rejected an online Poll, by a self-imposed digital media company, which mischievously put Saliu Mustapha, ahead of other Senatorial candidates in Kwara Central.

The group in a statement on Monday signed by Ibrahim Kazeem, said that from all indication, the sponsored poll, is an orchestration of the Saliu Mustapha campaign, who are desperate to rescue their sinking campaign, after they have been roundly rejected by the people.

Kazeem said, like every other thing that has been associated with the APC candidate, the poll was procured, in a “willing buyer, willing seller arrangement”.

They revealed that the poll is far from the reality on ground, which suggest that if the election were to hold today, it would be won resoundingly by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Mallam Abdulganiyu Bolaji Abdullahi Omoluabi.

They said only Abdullahii, has the requisite capacity, experience, professional and educational competence to represent the people of Kwara Central, in the Senate, that oftentimes require each Senatorial District to put their best foot forward. Moreover, the APC candidate, lack the educational, professional and political pedigree, that could qualify him for such exalted office.

“We are not surprised by the outcome of the poll by a self-imposed media company, which project their client Saliu Mustapha as the preferred candidate for Kwara Central. Our reaction is simple, that where there is a willing buyer, there will always be a willing seller. This poll, just like every other thing associated with the APC candidate, was procured in a desperate attempt to rescue the dying ambition of the “Turaya of Gambari.

“Neither this poll or thousands of them, that will be commissioned by the APC candidate can change the reality on ground, which is that Mallam AbdulGaniyu Bolaji Abdullahi is the preferred candidate of real people who would be voting in the election.

“Whereas the Turaya and his people, are satisfied with sponsored polls, and hired bots, to create false impression, our candidate is campaigning and securing the support of real people, who recall with a sense of gratitude, his effort as Education commissioner, and his many firsts as Minister for Youth and Sport.

“There is no critical thinker who would take the poll seriously, because we all know, that it is impossible to defeat the PDP in its strongholds of Asa, Ilorin West and Ilorin South. In Ilorin East, which is Turaya’s backyard, would also not be different, our people have choosen to do the right thing, for them there is nothing Turaya can give them, that is be better than the good reputation of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.

“Turaya and his hirelings can continue to procure opinion polls, but it would never change the resolve of our people to reward Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi with their overwhelming support.”

The group said if it were not for the unique nature of our politics, Saliu Mustapha whose only credential in this election, has been deep pocket, would never have a fighting chance in a popular contest with Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.

“Despite the unique nature of our politics, we would clear all doubts, in February 2023 that a good name is better than gold and that the Omoluabi in our people can never be bought by money”

The group encouraged all supporters of the PDP and Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, to remain resolute and strong in their conviction to deliver the PDP Senatorial candidate at the election in February 2023.
