Another prominent members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edu LGA has resigned their membership from the party. The group was led by Mr  Mohammed Bala ibrahim who also resigned from his current positions in APC. Before their defection to PDP, The grassroots politician until his resignation was a strong member of Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq Group Youth Wing in the State. He was the State Secretary of the Group and current Assistant Auditor of APC in Edu LGA.  Mr. Mohammed Bala ibrahim was also a former Ward Chairman in Lafiagi ward one under the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) (2014 to 2019).
