Re - KWACCIMA, NASME KWARA CHAPTER DISCLAIMER 4th February 2022.
in response to the “Official Notification” message that was released by the KWARA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRY, MINES AND AGRICULTURE & NASME Kwara Chapter on 3rd February 2021, which I considered as DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER, I Islamiyat Oyin Olodo, the founder of CTF Exhibition hereby bring to the notice of the general public that my organization has a track record of excellence over the years that shows we have been supporting and promoting SME's across Nigeria since 2019. CTF Exhibition agreed to work with KWACCIMA to plan and coordinate the 8th Kwara Trade Fair ultimately because the event was geared towards promoting business owners in Kwara State which aligns with my organization's major goal.
However, there was a dispute between CTF Exhibition, KWACCIMA & NASME after the event came to an end on 5th Dec 2021. The dissension was due to an outstanding payment that the organization was due to pay CTF Exhibition. despite several calls, messages and interference of some key stakeholders in KWACCIMA, The management refused to pay outstanding payment of more than 50% of my consultancy fee. And as I mentioned in my “Letter Of Demand” I feel cheated. Thus, a letter was written to the appropriate authority for a peaceful resolution. The matter was later settled amicably on 25th Jan 2022 when both KWACCIMA AND NASME insisted they are not going pay CTF Balance for reasons best known to them. As a peace loving citizen of this country, I decided to let go and the partnership agreement was terminated. To my greatest surprise, KWACCIMA AND NASME released a short notice to caution people from doing business with my organization despite the fact that both organization refused to pay what they owe CTF Exhibition. Giving people false impression about an organization that is supporting small businesses in the country does not only serve as a discouragement to other young people who are looking to create platforms for Nigeria businesses to thrive, it is also hypocritical to an organization that worked earnestly to put together an event that turns out to be a landmark achievement for KWACCIMA AND NASME Kwara Chapter.
I demand a public apology from KWACCIMA AND NAMSME KWARA CHAPTER within 48hours. Failure to comply will leave me with no option than to take legal action against both organizations for DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER
As a person and an organization that is steadfast in promoting youth entrepreneurship as a tool to reduce youth unemployment and promote economic growth, I reinstate my commitment to supporting MSMEs regardless of the challenges that comes my way.
