24 Years Of Democracy, Can Kwara State Be Better Managed?

Next year will mark 24th anniversary of return of democracy in Kwara state and Nigeria. Sadly, a particular region of the three senatorial districts in the State has been a victim of injustice and imbalance in terms of political leadership of the state, despite the contributions of this district to the overall economic growth and development of the state. It is important as good citizens of the state to reflect on this opinion before the campaigns for the 2023 general elections commence. Physiologically, it is important to note that while people tend to assume that oppression benefits the non-oppressed class, the ordinary voters also do not b

One major problem that had hitherto remained an albatross to the good people of kwara central at the National Level is the lack of good and quality representation since 2019 when APC took over. Since the inception of the present political dispensation in 1999, kwara central had produced members that represented them at that level. Bolaji Abdullahi's Race Against the Script By Faruq Atofarati

Bolaji Abdullahi earned my sympathy the day I knew he was contesting for a political position in Kwara Central. It's interesting and disturbing, but it raised a major concern with the current political atmosphere. I know Bolaji Abdullahi as a gifted writer who has written impressively on the art of capturing and recapturing power. If he hasn't dissociated from his "On a Platter of Gold."   The ruling party wants to dampen the Central's cause by axing qualities from within for money-oriented political philosophers. I thought the Central would be picking between a pink and a mauve, but they want to raise a towering fortress without digging deep.   The complicated absurdity is weaponizing poverty, of course, people now find it difficult to differentiate between being a philanthropist and being a lawmaker with qualities of representational politics.   The Central is thus in a state of chaos, and there's a gesture that changes the mind.
